I’m usually a kind person but you seriously make me want to say mean things about you. And since you’ve recently caused me stress, I’m going to rant on this blog about the things I really hate about you.

I hate how you assigned us crap that we aren’t even completely trained to do yet. I hate how you actually expect us to know how to do these things right away or for us to get the answer by mere luck. You even assigned us this shit to do when you don’t even have the authority to do so. You are not my boss!

I hate how you think you’re actually helping us new people, when in reality you’re only helping us realize how much we don’t want to work here anymore.

I hate your laugh. It’s so fucking annoying.

I hate your “teaching” methods. Sure, experience could be a great teacher, but without guidance you have taught your students NOTHING. You are no teacher. What you basically did is just give us work with no help whatsoever. This is a total waste of time.

I don’t like you. You’re fake. You talk about our teammates behind their/our backs. Fuck you. You suck.

You’re one of the reasons I can’t wait to get out of here.

Ladies and gentlemen, I did it again. I broke another bag. Why oh why does this keep happening to me?!

Oh wait, I think I have an idea. I bring too much stuff. Too. Much. Stuff.

Seriously.

A few weeks ago, I brought my make-up kit with me and saw that there were 6 lipsticks in there. Six! Add that to a journal from Starbucks, a smaller notepad for work stuff, a pen or two, an umbrella, a comb, my iPod, keys, loose powder, a bottle of cologne, two cellphones, a handkerchief, the occasional bottle of water and at times, my laptop too. Oh and let’s not forget the other contents of the make-up kit: blush, eyeliner pens, eyeshadow compacts, pressed powder etc…

Ok, I seriously need to bring less stuff on a day to day basis.

Either that, or I need heavy-duty bags. Haha!

A girl needs her stuff right? :P

How do you do? My name is Kelly. Here are a few things about me:

1. I’m 20-ish years old.

2. I resigned from my old office job in search of something more. Right now I’m doing fun freelance jobs while chasing uncertain dreams.

3. I go to Church every Sunday but I’m almost always late. (sorry God!)

4. I’ve only had one boyfriend ever.

5. I used to be a tomboy but now, I never have less than two or three lipsticks in my purse. :P

This is a topic that often brings people into my therapy sessions. You are in a new relationship, it is seemingly going well, it is getting serious, yet there is something that is holding you back from making that ultimate commitment. Here are the four red flags that this relationship may not last …

25. Try to make at least three people smile each day.
26. What other people think of you is none of your business. Who cares?
 
Life:
27. Do the right thing!
28. TIME heals everything.
29. However good or bad a situation is, it will change. 
30. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

Since Tumblr is a place for friends, I think it’s very much appropriate for me to introduce myself. Don’t worry, I’ll keep it short and simple.

Urban Lipstick is the joint blog of two, twenty-something girls with similar wavelengths. We’ll talk about anything and everything that concerns us from boys to work, fashion and entertainment, even politics and weight loss.
